{thanksgiving}

On Sunday we went to our American friends' house in Salt Rock for Thanksgiving.  If you've never had the privilege of feasting on a Thanksgiving Turkey extravaganza, then let me explain:  It's a time when friends and family get together on the last Thursday of November, to give thanks for what they've got.  It is a feast that lasts the entire afternoon, and culminates in a very necessary nap on the couch.  Rounding the meal off is a mixture of pies and pastries that make you feel fuller than you ever thought possible.


Needless to say, it's my favourite time of the year.
