Last week, I was in Pretoria for 2 days to do some work. It had been years since I was last there, but I have fond memories of that place - especially the Jacarandas in Spring. My parents lived in Pretoria for a year when they were first married, and when my sister was just a tiny tot.
The weather was ridiculously hot, 35 degrees in the shade, so chocolate milkshakes became my go-to remedy for staving off the hot summer rays.
