Here's a little mini tour around our home - we love it. It's made up of mostly thrifted or vintage goodies, hand-me down antiques from my mom and grans, and teeters on the edge of being just that little bit overstuffed. Boyfriend and I both come from a long line of hoarders, so as far as our relatives are concerned, our flat is bare. But we're trying to shed the hoarder-mentality that has been passed down from generation to generation but it's just so hard to say no to all the lovely goodies we find on our adventures around the country and world!
But it's warm, inviting and cosy - isn't that the main thing?
Bunting from In Good Company and old music scores found in a box in a thrift store in East London
An illustration by the immensely talented Amelia from Whimsy - the theme describes us to a tee: "The Navigator"
Our bedroom, adorned with some of our favourite old photographs
My dressing table that we scored at a antique store for a steal!
An old illustration saved from the depths of an SPCA sale, and an old black telephone that boyfriend got somewhere, somehow.
A bunny I bought on our latest trip to the Berg - he now has pride of place on top of our camera display cabinet, next to my favourite flowers
