{A few changes .....}

Hey there,
It is time to officially note the changes that have occurred since we bought {the thrift collection} in February 2012. 
We started out with just over 300 likes on our Facebook page, and we now have 1009 - so thank you to all of you for  your support <3
In about June, Ashleigh-Jade decided to take a break from the business as she needed to focus on her school committments, so I, together with my mom and Ashleigh-Jade's mom, continued running the business.  In about September, Ashleigh-Jade's mom also decided that she needed to focus on running her own business, so that left me, and my mom.
With Matric looming, I have not been as involved as I would have liked and have left most of the admin and day-to-day business stuff up to my mom so I could study and try to get through the dreaded exams.  (Thank you, Mom xx)
Now that school is officially over, I will have more time to devote to {the thrift collection} and I am really looking forward to sourcing more thrifted stock and keeping all you lovely shoppers happy :)
So watch this space - things are going to be happening!

{dreaming of a white Christmas}

Hey there,
I have been dreaming of a white Christmas but will have to settle for Christmas in hot, humid Durban this year! 
If any of you are planning on a white Christmas, you will probably need some jerseys, jackets or coats to add to your suitcase before heading off on your travels.

{Big changes} and {Menswear upload}

Hi thifters
There have been some big changes in {the thrift collection}, but more of that later :)
We have managed to source a few thrifted items of {menswear} and will be uploading a few items each week.  Check out our blog every Sunday to be the first to see the uploads.

{BIG FAT SALE} and {Spring} Collection

Hi {Thrifters}

Unfortunately our Spring day was marred by rain and wind and we had to leave the I Heart Market early.

But........to make up for this, we are having a {BIG FAT SALE} on our facebook page at 8pm on Sunday night.  We will not be uploading any sale items to the Blog, so please go to :
www.facebook.com/thethriftcollection to make sure you don't miss out.  All you need to do is comment "Me please" or "mine" or similar under the photo of the item you would like to buy.  Then you need to email us at thethriftcollection@gmail.com to confirm your purchase so we can make collection/payment/delivery arrangements.  We do post to anyone outside of Durban - add on R30 for postage :)

We will also be uploading more awesome stock into our {Spring} Collection and we will put most of these items onto the Blog.

{Spring is here}

 

Attention all {Thrifty shoppers} - {the thrift collection} will be at the I Heart Market this Saturday - we are celebrating the first day of Spring with FREE {cookies} for everyone who visits our caravan AND we are having a BIG FAT R20 SALE. We look forward to seeing you there :)
